CHOCOLATE CHIP FLUFFERNUTTER BLONDIES

Amazing blondie-cookie bar that tastes like a cross between a fluffernutter sandwich and a peanut butter blossom cookie! Hershey's® chocolate makes it taste like a peanut butter blossom cookie. Definitely underbake!

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Beat butter, brown sugar, peanut butter, and white sugar together in a bowl until smooth and creamy. Add egg and egg yolk and mix gently. Gradually stir in flour, baking soda, and salt just until batter is mixed. Gently fold chocolate chips and marshmallows into batter. Spread batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until edges are lightly browned, 15 to 20 minutes. The center will set as it cools. Cool completely before slicing, about 30 minutes.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line three baking sheets with parchment paper or silpat liners.
  • In mixer cream together sugar, shortening, vanilla and egg. In a small bowl sift together dry ingredients. Add to creamed sugar, 3/4 cup at a time, alternating with the buttermilk. When combined stir in morsels.
  • Drop by tablespoonfuls (I use a tablespoon scoop) onto lined baking sheets and bake 8 minutes. Remove from oven and add a marshmallow half to each cookie, return to oven and cook 3 minutes longer. Let cookies cool 1 minute on sheet then remove to racks to cool completely. Using a measured tablespoon scoop this recipe makes 3 dozen cookies.

Easy No Bake Fluffernutter Cookies Recipe image

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
  • In a large microwaveable-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips (cook for 45 seconds, stir, then microwave again for 30 seconds and stir again. Repeat until melted chips are smooth).
  • Then add in the peanut butter to the white melted chocolate and stir until creamy.
  • Fold in marshmallows, Rice Krispies cereal, and peanuts and mix until they are all coated with peanut butter.
  • Drop heaping tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet. Let cool for 20 minutes or until set up.

  • Spread half of the Ritz crackers with peanut butter (about a teaspoon each). Spread the other half with the marshmallow creme. The marshmallow creme will be very sticky and hard to spread. Just place a blob in the middle. It will spread out when you sandwich them together!
  • Sandwich the peanut butter and marshmallow crackers together and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
  • In the meantime, place the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave safe container and melt until smooth.
  • Remove the cookies from the freezer and dip them halfway in the chocolate. Sprinkle with sprinkles if desired. Lay them back on the baking sheet and allow to dry. Store the crackers in an airtight container, separated by parchment paper, in the fridge for up to 5 days. Serve cold or at room temperature.
