- In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Transfer to two greased and floured 9-in. round baking pans., Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the middle comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely., In a large bowl, beat butter until fluffy. Add the confectioners' sugar, milk, cinnamon and vanilla; beat until smooth. Spread frosting between layers and over top and sides of cake. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Store in the refrigerator.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Mix 3 cups flour, milk, white sugar, eggs, baking powder, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, and salt together in a large bowl until well-combined. Stir in 1/4 cup melted butter. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Beat 1 cup softened butter, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and cinnamon together in a large bowl until smooth. Drop by spoonfuls over the batter in the baking pan. Swirl the top layer into the bottom layer with a knife to create a marble effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out nearly clean, 25 to 30 minutes.
- Mix confectioners' sugar, milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth. Drizzle over warm cake.

Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. In a small bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add vanilla and chilled milk mixture; beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 10 minutes. , Place 1 cake on a serving plate; spread with filling. Top with remaining cake. Store in the refrigerator. If desired, serve with caramel topping.
