COINTREAU PARFAIT PIE
This is my own recipe developed several years ago when I was looking for something cool, easy and different. It is always well received and never any leftovers. I refer to it as one of my "brainless" desserts. The time I have given includes chilling and is approximate.

Steps:
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Add Cointreau.
- Add ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
- Chill until thickened but not set.
- Pour into pie shell and chill again until set.
- Garnish thickly with whipping cream, chocolate and almonds.
