Creamy Banana Dessert With Cracker Crust Recipes

- Combine cracker crumbs and butter. Press into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. dish. In a large bowl, beat milk and pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes. Pour over crust; top with bananas and pineapple. Spread with whipped topping (dish will be full). Sprinkle with pecans if desired., Chill for at least 4 hours before cutting. Garnish with candy bar pieces and cherries if desired.

CREAMY BANANA DESSERT WITH CRACKER CRUST
I made this dessert for the holiday and it was delicious..everyone wanted the recipe...I didn't have graham crackers and didn't want to go to the store so I used buttery cracker crumbs. The crackers gave the dessert a wonderful salty /sweet taste..I think you will like this too...

Steps:
- 1. Crush crackers in plastic bag using a rolling pin. Mix melted butter with the crumbs. Press onto bottom and up sides of an 8 or 9-inch dish or pie pan. Chill until firm.
- 2. Microwave the chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of butter in 30 second interval, stirring until melted after each 30 seconds. (Brush the tops of 8 whole crackers with some of the chocolate mixture then set them in the fridge to chill, this step is optional.) Carefully brush or spread chocolate mixture over bottom and sides of crust. Chill to set for 5 minutes.
- 3. Arrange 1/2 the banana slices on bottom and side of the chocolate-coated crust. Pour the milk and both pudding mixes in a medium bowl. Whisk together until well blended. Gently fold in 1/2 the whipped topping and spoon into the the crust.
- 4. Top with remaining banana slices; and spread with remaining topping. Chill for 4 hours or more until set.
- 5. Remove from fridge for a few minutes before serving...it will be easier to cut. Just before servings garnish with the chocolate covered crackers, if desired.

- Combine the graham cracker crumbs, white sugar and melted butter. Mix together and press into a 9x13 inch cake pan; refrigerate until chilled.
- Beat together the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar; spread over graham cracker crust.
- Layer bananas and pineapple over cream cheese mixture; cover fruit with whipped topping.
- Top with cherries and chopped nuts; refrigerate and serve chilled.

- Crush the Nilla Wafers. I put mine into a food chopper and that did the job great. You want the consistency to be pretty fine.
- Spray bottom of pan with cooking spray for easy removal. Add the melted butter to the crushed Nilla Wafers and press down into pan. It may be a little crumbly but that's ok because when chilled the crust becomes firm.
- Chop up banana and make a layer on the bottom. Mix jello pudding according to directions and pour on the top. Let chill in fridge for about an hour.

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Place the graham crackers in the food processor. Pulse until the crackers are chopped to fine crumbs. Add the melted butter, sugar, salt and cinnamon, pulse to combine. Add 1 teaspoon of water and pulse a couple more times. If the crumbs are moist and pinch together well, dump into a pie pan. If not, repeat with another teaspoon of water and proceed.
