CREAMY BANANA PUDDING
Steps:
- COMBINE sweetened condensed milk and water in large bowl. Add pudding mix; beat until well blended. Chill 5 minutes.
- FOLD in whipped cream. Spoon 1 cup pudding mixture into 2 1/2-quart glass serving bowl.
- TOP with one-third each of the vanilla wafers, bananas and remaining pudding. Repeat layering twice, ending with pudding mixture. Chill thoroughly. Garnish as desired.
RICH-N-CREAMY BANANA PUDDING
Goodness! We made this for a friend's birthday... and folks have been asking us about it ever since! Not only did the Southern birthday boy give it a thumbs-up, but so did every single party guest. Yum!

- 1. Combine the pudding with the milk and mix together for approximately 2 minutes.
- 2. Gradually fold in the sweetened condensed milk.
- 3. Gradually fold in the whipped topping.
- 4. Slice bananas into 1/4 inch thickness.
- 5. Layer a 9 x 13 dish with the vanilla wafers; then the pudding mixture; and then the banana slices. Then repeat for the 2nd layer. You can crush up the remaining vanilla wafers and scatter on the top if you like.
- 6. Let refrigerate for several hours. Overnite is better, but I have made this early in the morning for a pot-luck at work, and it's great at lunch.

- In a bowl, whisk milk and pudding mixes for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in sour cream. Fold in whipped topping until well blended. Place half of the vanilla wafers in an 11x7-in. dish. Top with half of the pudding mixture, half of the bananas, then remaining wafers, bananas and pudding mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

CREAMY DREAMY BANANA PUDDING
This could be your new favorite banana pudding. The first secret are the home made vanilla waffers. I make them the day before. The second secret is the banana flavoring added to the pudding. The double dose of banana flavor will knock any banana lovers socks off.

- 1. Separate eggs putting the whites in a mixing bowl and the yolks in a small bowl.
- 2. In a sauce pan add flour, sugar, salt. Stir with a whisk until well combined.
- 3. Whisk the egg yolks until smooth. Pour 2 cups of milk in a measuring cup. Add yolks and mix until smooth.
- 4. Pour 1/3 cup of milk mixture into sauce pan of flour mixture. Stir until smooth. Turn heat on to medium low and add the rest of the milk mixture. With a whisk stir constantly until pudding gets thick about 15 minutes. when you start seeing large bubbles stir 1 more minute.
- 5. Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla, and banana extract. Stir until well combined. Slice your bananas thinly.
- 6. In a oven proof dish arrange cookies in a single layer on the bottom and sides of dish. Layer 1/2 of the banana slices on top of cookies.
- 7. Pour Pudding over bananas.
- 8. Top with bananas and then cookies.
- 9. For meringue: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 10. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add sugar slowly until stiff peaks form.
- 11. This is the texture you are looking for.
- 12. Spread meringue evenly over cookies. Bake for 12 minutes.
- 13. Remove from oven and allow pudding to cool. This is best served warm. You can reheat leftover pudding in the microwave...that is if you have any left.
