Creamy Onion Pork Chops image

Steps:

  • Sprinkle chops with pepper and salt; transfer to a 4-qt slow cooker. In a large bowl, combine the milk, soups, wine and dressing mix; pour over pork. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until pork is tender., Remove pork to a serving platter and keep warm. Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer to a large saucepan. Bring liquid to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; gradually stir into the pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with pork. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.

Amazing Pork Chops in Cream Sauce image

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season pork chops with salt and pepper, and arrange in a single layer in pan. Pan-fry for 2 minutes on each side to brown. Pour in wine, and continue cooking for 6 minutes. Remove chops from pan.
  • Pour cream into the skillet, and then add mushrooms. Increase heat to high; cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until sauce reduces and thickens. Return chops to pan to warm before serving.

CREAMY PORK CHOPS

This is a very homey comforting pork dish. It doesn't take a lot of work or ingredients. I was looking for something that would just taste good and have a wonderful gravy. The onions and garlic add a really nice mellow sweetness to the dish. I used yellow onions which are sweeter than white, but almost any kind of onion would work. I would not use red onions though because the flavor is much too strong. My family loves garlic so I used more, but make it to your tastes. My 2 year old gobbled it up. Left overs are delicious!

Creamy Pork Chops image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • Brown pork chops over medium-high heat.
  • When chops are browned, but not cooked through, place in a 13x9 baking dish.
  • In the same skillet you browned the chops saute the sliced onions until caramelized, sprinkling with a little salt to add flavor and bring out the sugars.
  • When the onions are starting to get a little color add your garlic cloves.
  • When onions and garlic are nicely caramelized pour over pork chops.
  • In the same skillet add the can of cream of chicken soup, milk, salt and pepper to taste, and parmesan cheese. Whisk until all the lumps are gone.
  • When this reaches a creamy texture (you may need to add a little water if it's too thick) pour over pork chops and onions.
  • Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chops.

  • In a large nonstick skillet, brown pork chops in oil over medium heat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Transfer to an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. , In the drippings, saute onions until tender. Spoon over chops; add broth. Cover and bake at 325° for 10-15 minutes or until a thermometer reads 145°. Remove pork chops and onions; keep warm. Creamy Parmesan Pork Chop Skillet image

Steps:

  • Rub pork chops with salt and pepper. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium-high heat. Add pork; cook 2 to 4 minutes or until browned on first side. Turn pork; reduce heat to medium; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until browned on second side. Transfer to plate; cover with foil to keep warm. Butter will be very dark.
  • Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and the onions to skillet; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until onions soften and begin to brown. Stir in flour; cook and stir 30 to 60 seconds or until mixture thickens and begins to brown. Stir in broth and whipping cream; heat to simmering over medium-high heat. Return pork to skillet; reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 4 to 6 minutes or until pork is no longer pink in center (at least 145°F).
  • Remove from heat; transfer pork to plates. Stir Parmesan cheese into sauce mixture in skillet. Spoon sauce over pork; top with parsley. Serve with potatoes.

Pork Chops With Onions, Cream and Tomatoes image

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a large skillet (12 or 15 inches) and brown chops on both sides over moderate heat, about 15 minutes. Remove chops. If necessary, brown chops in 2 batches.
  • Drain tomatoes, reserving the juice, and cut tomatoes into slivers. Pour tomato juice into the skillet, stir to loosen all brown bits from the bottom and return all the chops to the skillet, making 2 layers if they are thin.
  • Mix slivered onions and tomatoes together and pour over chops. Season lightly with salt and pepper, cover skillet securely and cook over very low heat about 2 hours, or until the meat is almost but not quite falling off the bone.
  • Remove chops to a serving platter and keep warm. Add cream to mixture in skillet, raise heat and boil hard, stirring constantly, until mixture has a viscous, saucelike consistency. Season to taste with salt and pepper, pour over chops and serve.

Crock Pot Oniony Pork Chops With Creamy Mustard Sauce image

Steps:

  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and brown pork chops on both sides; place in bottom of slow cooker when browned.
  • In same skillet, reduce heat to medium and saute onions until softened; add garlic, dry mustard, salt and pepper, and cayenne and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
  • Add flour and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
  • Add vinegar and wine and cook until thickened.
  • Pour this mixture over pork chops, put lid on crock pot and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours or on High for 2 to 2-1/2 hours (I did Low for 4-1/2 hours), or just until pork is tender.
  • Remove pork chops from slow cooker and place on a warmed platter.
  • Stir Dijon mustard and whipping cream into juices in slow cooker; when well combined, turn slow cooker off and pour sauce over chops on platter and serve immediately.
