HONEY-GARLIC SLOW COOKER CHICKEN THIGHS

I have used it often. It's easy and uses pantry staples. Always a hit with adults and kids. Serve with basmati rice or quinoa and steamed or roasted vegetables.

Steps:

  • Lay chicken thighs into the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker.
  • Whisk soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, and basil together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.
  • Cook on Low for 6 hours.

Steps:

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the chicken in oil on all sides. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, garlic and ginger; pour over chicken. , Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until chicken juices run clear. Remove chicken to a serving platter sprinkle with almonds.

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients, except green onions and cashews, in a crock pot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours, or 4 hours on high.
  • Remove chicken to a serving platter and top with green onions and cashews.
