Steps:
- 1. In a medium bowl stir together ketchup, honey, soy sauce and garlic. Forgot to get a picture.
- 2. I sprayed my broiler pan with cooking spray. Place the chops on broiler tray. Lightly season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper.
- 3. Brush each chop with the sauce to coat.
- 4. I then placed oven rack two notches down from the top. Place chops in the oven. Broil about 5 minutes, baste. Broil another 5 minutes; turn chop, baste. Keep turning and basting until chops are cooked. Mine took about 20 minutes each side. Mine were thick, may not take as long for a thinner chop. Remember to liberally baste often. These are delicious chops. I hope you try them. The sauce would be great on chicken also.
DELICIOUS TANGY PORK CHOPS
This is a variation of the 'Tangy Chicken' recipe here on Allrecipes.com. It's fast and easy. It makes the chops very juicy and tender. You may be put off by the lemon, but you really don't taste it that strong, it's overpowered by the Worcestershire Sauce. It seems the acid in the lemon helps make the more meat tender and helps the flavor soak in. The garlic is just a hint also, not too strong at all! Garlic powder could also be used.
