  • Cover 1 toast slice with 1 process cheese slice half, 1 turkey slice, 1 tomato slice, 1 bacon slice and lettuce; top with second toast slice. Repeat layers.
  • Cut into quarters.

Slow-Cooked Turkey Sandwiches image

Steps:

  • In a 4-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 6 ingredients. Cover and cook on low until vegetables are tender and cheese is melted, 3-4 hours. Stir mixture; spoon 1/2 cup onto each bun.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°.In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring water, onion and celery to a boil reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 4 minutes or until vegetables are almost tender. Drain well.Meanwhile, slice each roll crosswise. With a fork, remove inside crumbs leaving a 1/4 -inch shell. Place crumbs in a medium bowl. Add turkey, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper and drained vegetables. Toss with a fork to mix well. Spoon one-third of the mixture into bottom of each roll replace tops. Wrap each in foil.Bake for 15 minutes or until heated through. Unwrap sandwiches and serve with gravy."Serve with cranberry sauce."

  • In a skillet over medium, cook bacon until crisp, 6 to 8 minutes per side; drain on a paper-towel-lined plate. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and ketchup; season with salt and pepper.
