This is a sweet, creamy recipe that has been handed down in my family. We always have it at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine fruit cocktail, bananas and cherries. Reserve 3 slices of banana and 1 cherry for garnish.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the cream to soft peaks with an electric mixer. Add sugar and vanilla, and whip to combine.
- Fold the whipped cream into the fruit. Garnish with a fan of banana slices. Place cherry at the bottom of the banana fan.

A heirloom recipe!! Easy as 1-2-3 :) It's delicious! You can put on angel food cake and top with cool whip; or what i like to do is put some on a flan topped with fresh whipped cream :) makes a great dessert!!

- Mix pineapple juice and dry instant vanilla pudding together and set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

- In a heavy saucepan, combine orange and pineapple juices, sugar, egg and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. CREAMY FRUIT SALAD

- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
- Spread the coconut in a single layer on a baking pan. Toast coconut in oven until pale golden brown, watching carefully to avoid burning, about 8 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt, honey, rum, and mint. In another large bowl, combine the fruit. Pour the yogurt mixture over the fruit and toss to combine. Allow to sit for 10 minutes so the fruit can absorb the flavors. Sprinkle the toasted coconut on top and serve.

But, there's enough creamy sauce that you can really pack more into the recipe. We think adding grapes, blueberries, or raspberries would be amazing....
