DRUMSTICK (NUTTY BUDDY) DESSERT

Nutty Buddy bars are a classic childhood dessert and this recipe really does bring the essence of that flavor to life. This has so many wonderful layers. We love the peanut and waffle cone crust. The hint of peanut butter from the second layer and the richness from the chocolate pudding layer is amazing. Topped off with Cool Whip...

Drumstick (Nutty Buddy) Dessert image

Steps:

  • 1. Mix sugar cones, butter, and 2/3 c peanuts together and pat into a 9x13 pan. Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes. Cool.
  • 2. Beat cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar in a bowl until smooth. Fold in 2 c Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust. Refrigerate while preparing next step.
  • 3. Mix pudding and half and half. Spread over cream cheese mixture, and refrigerate for about 3-5 minutes until pudding is set.
  • 4. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Drizzle Magic Shell and sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Freeze or refrigerate.

2 c crushed sugar cones (about 2 boxes)
1/2 c butter, melted
1 c finely chopped peanuts, divided
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 c peanut butter
1/3 c powered sugar
16 oz Cool Whip, divided
2 pkg instant chocolate pudding; 3.9 oz box
2 3/4 c milk or half and half

Steps:

  • Mix first 4 ingredients and press into a 9x13 pan (Save a few crumbs for top).
  • Cream next 3 ingredients together.
  • Add vanilla, the eggs, and cool whip.
  • Spread filling into crust.
  • Dribble on sauce and marbilize with a knife.
  • Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.
  • Freeze.
  • Thaw before eating.
  • (1 1/2 hrs).

1 1/2 cups crushed graham wafers
1/2 cup crushed peanuts
1/4 cup melted butter
2 tablespoons peanut butter
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1 (16 ounce) container Cool Whip
8 teaspoons chocolate syrup or 8 teaspoons fudge sundae sauce

Steps:

  • For base: melt butters together. stir in peanuts and graham crumbs. Reserve 3/4 cup for topping. Press into 9 x 13 pan.
  • For filling: mix cream cheese, sugar, peanut butter & vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time. Fold in cool whip. pour over base. Drizzle brown cow on top and swirl through with a knife. Sprinkle 3/4 cup crumbs over top, with extra peanuts. Freeze at least 6 hours.
  • Before cutting, let sit for about 15 minutes at room temperature. A pizza cutter works great.

I got this recipe from a good friend of mine on facebook! I made it and everyone wanted the recipe...Warning though, if you are a religious person you might not want to go any further with this recipe because it is absolutely SINFUL!!!

  • 1. Mix wafer crumbs and butter and pat into 9 X 13 pan.
  • 2. In a large bowl blend together cream cheese, sugar, peanut butter and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  • 3. Fold in thawed cool whip, spread mixture evenly over crumbs, one bottle of butterscotch or hot fudge chocolate poured over top. Place Drumstick dessert dish in freezer.
  • 4. Once frozen, sprinkle crushed peanuts as a final touch and put back into freezer. This recipe is DELICIOUS!!! NO cooking and ready to eat right from freezer." ================================

  • 1st LAYER: Mix together ingredients and press into the bottom of a 13x9 dish.
  • 2nd LAYER: Mix together ingredients and spread on top of 1st layer.
  • Chill in fridge for 30 minutes.
