Steps:

  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Add wet ingredients & stir well.
  • Roll out onto a well floured surface to 1cm thickness.
  • Cut out desired shapes and place on place 1-2cm apart on a non-stick cookie sheet.
  • Bake on centre rack of oven at 140.C for about 2 hours until dry & very hard.
  • Let cool completely before storing in an air-tight container.

  • Preheat oven to 350*.Lightly oil a baking sheet.set aside.
  • Combine flour, dry milk, garlic powder and sugar.
  • cut in meat drippings till it resemble coarse meal --
  • Mix in eggs, and add enough water to form a ball.
  • Pat dough onto cookie sheets -- to 1/2" thick.
  • Cut out with desired cutters or knife.
  • Remove scraps.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes.
  • Cool in pan on wire rack 5 minutes.
  • Remove to rack to cool completely.

Steps:

  • 1. Beat the cheese and margarine in a mixing bowl. Add the flour, garlic and salt; mix well. Add enough milk to form a stiff dough. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • 2. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with a bone shaped cookie cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375* for 15-20 minutes or until edges are golden brown. My oven takes 15 minutes...all ovens are different. Remove to wire racks to cool. Biscuits will harden as they cool.
