Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Lightly grease a 10x15-inch baking sheet.
  • Press dough on to prepared baking sheet. Combine butter, garlic, and basil in a small bowl; drizzle over dough. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, Romano cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven until crisp, 10 to 12 minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm.

Garlic Cheese Flatbread image

Steps:

  • In a cup or small bowl, sprinkle yeast over the surface of the lukewarm water. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes to dissolve.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the flour, salt and sugar. Pour in the yeast mixture along with the olive oil. Beat with a sturdy spoon until dough is stiff enough to pull away from the sides of the bowl. Cover, and set aside until doubled in size, about 35 minutes.
  • Remove the dough from the bowl and knead briefly on a floured surface. Roll the dough out to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thickness or to the size of your baking sheet. Place on a greased baking sheet and spread butter over the top. Sprinkle with garlic powder, Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese. Let rest while you preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown and cheese is bubbly. Serve warm.

  • In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup oil, sugar, salt, yeast mixture and 2 cups flour; beat on medium speed until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough., Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Steps:

  • Combine flour, cornmeal, baking soda, sugar, and salt together in a large bowl. Cut in butter with a fork or pastry blender until mixture looks crumbly. Stir in thyme, rosemary, and garlic powder. Sprinkle in water and vinegar; toss with a fork until a ball of dough forms.
  • Wrap dough tightly in plastic wrap. Freeze until firm, about 20 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease 2 baking sheets.

Steps:

  • In bread machine pan, place the first six ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.
  • Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tbslp. of water or flour if needed).
  • When cycle is completed, turn dough onto floured surface.
  • Roll into 12-inch circle.
  • Transfer to a 14-inch pizza pan coated with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Cover; let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes.
  • In a small skillet, cook garlic in butter over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • With the end of a wooden spoon handle, make indentations in dough at 1-inch intervals.
  • Top with garlic butter and sprinkle with cheeses.

  • Whisk 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 minced garlic clove and 1/4 teaspoon each kosher salt, dried oregano and red pepper flakes. Stretch 1 pound pizza dough into a 1/2-inch-thick round.   • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a small saucepan, heat butter and oil over medium heat. Add garlic and salt; cook, stirring, until garlic is fragrant but not browned, about 1 minute. Remove from heat; set aside.
  • Sprinkle the bottom of two rimmed baking sheets with cornmeal. Divide the dough into four equal pieces. Roll out each piece into a 1/4-inch-thick round. Arrange two rounds on each sheet.   • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl; add butter and crush into the flour mixture with hands until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  • Mix hot water and garlic into the flour mixture until it all comes together into a dough; turn out onto a cutting board dusted with flour. Knead dough 3 or 4 times. Cut dough into 10 pieces, roll into balls, and flatten into discs.
