GOBBLE LOAF

Not much of a story. I just used what I had on hand.

Steps:

  • Saute onion for one minute. Add kale. Continue until kale is wilted, set aside.
  • Meanwhile, pulse corn chips in a food processor to small pieces. Set aside. Grate cheese in food processor. Also set aside.
  • Add kale/onion to processor bowl with tomato. Pulse several times. Add corn chips, turkey, 1/2 cup of cheese, turkey, salt and pepper to taste. Pulse several times until all ingredients are mixed.
  • Place in oiled baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes, or until done. Let sit for a few minutes then serve hot.

1 - generous handful of corn chips
3/4 cup(s) shredded pepper jack cheese

This is a mixture of turkey meatloaf recipes I have tried and came up with this gobble-icious turkey meatloaf recipe ....Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Bon Appetit everyone !!!

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine eggs and milk.
  • In a large bowl,using wet hands, combine tomato sauce, vinegar, mustard, ground turkey. oats, onions, parsley, garlic, cheese, green peper, basil, oregano and sage.
  • Add the egg/milk combination into the large bowl.
  • Place the mixture in a loaf pan.
  • Bake in 350 degree fahrenheit oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • Combine ketchup, worcestershire sauce and barbecue sauce and spread it over the meatloaf.
  • Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the meatloaf from oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

2 eggs, slightly beaten (or 1/2 cup egg beaters )
1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
8 ounces tomato sauce
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 1/4 lbs lean ground turkey
1/2 cup quick oats
1 large onion, chopped
4 tablespoons parsley, chopped
3 -4 garlic cloves, minced
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup parmesan-romano cheese mix
1/2 teaspoon sage (or thyme )
1/2 cup green pepper, diced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 -3 teaspoons ketchup
2 -3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 -3 teaspoons barbecue sauce

GARLIC HERB BUBBLE LOAF

I adapted an old sour cream bread recipe for this deliciously different pull-apart loaf that smells heavenly while baking. It has a light crust, tender interior and lots of herb and butter flavor. We think it's wonderful with a hot bowl of potato soup. -Katie Crill, Priest River, Idaho

Steps:

  • In bread machine pan, place the first 7 ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1-2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed). , When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes. Divide dough into 36 pieces. Shape each piece into a ball. In a shallow bowl, combine butter, garlic and herbs. Dip each ball in mixture; place in an ungreased 9x5-in. loaf pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes., Bake at 375° for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown (cover loosely with foil if bread browns too quickly). Remove from pan to a wire rack. Serve warm.
