It seems like I'm always hosting a shower, birthday or other celebration. This spread is fast to fix.

Ham Cream Cheese Balls image

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, ham, onions and Worcestershire sauce. Shape into 3/4-in. balls. Roll in peanuts. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Serve with crackers and vegetables.

1 package (2-1/2 ounces) thinly sliced deli ham, finely chopped
3 green onions, finely chopped
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup finely chopped peanuts

MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER'S HAM CROQUETTES

I don't know how this recipe came to be, but we know my great-grandmother made this. It is made with diced ham in the oven and covered in bread crumbs. After shaping them, you can put cheese or anything you want into the middle for a filling. I personally like cream cheese or Cheddar cheese in mine but you can put whatever you want in the middle.

My Great Grandmother's Ham Croquettes image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix ham, egg, mayonnaise, and half the breadcrumbs together in a bowl; shape into 6 meatballs. Spread the remaining breadcrumbs onto a plate; roll the balls in the breadcrumbs to coat. Arrange the balls in a baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.

Grandma's Classic Cheese Ball image

Steps:

  • Combine 2 ounces cream cheese, blue cheese, and vinegar in a small bowl. Add water, stir until creamy, and transfer to a larger bowl.
  • Add remaining cream cheese, processed cheese spread, onion, and onion powder; mix until well combined. Mix in 1/2 cup walnuts until incorporated and shape into a ball.
  • Spread plastic wrap on the counter and spread remaining walnuts over top. Roll cheese ball in nuts until completely covered, then place into a bowl to help it keep its shape. Refrigerate until firm, 8 hours to overnight.

Steps:

  • Place ham and onion in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped. Add cheddar cheese; pulse until blended. Add cream cheese; process until smooth., Shape cheese mixture into a football; press pecans into cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour., Cut Swiss cheese into strips; arrange over top for laces. Serve with crackers.

  • In bowl beat cream cheese, sour cream and soup mix until smooth.
  • Stir in ham and cheese.
  • Form into a ball.
  • Refrigerate.
  • You may roll in chopped nuts before serving, if desired.
