HAPPOSAI SAUCE

Happosai Sauce image

Steps:

  • Heat broth in small saucepan.
  • Add sake, sugar, salt, soy sauce, and white pepper.
  • Just before adding sauce to happosai stir fry, turn off heat; mix water and starch and add to sauce gradually while stirring to thicken; immediately add sauce to stir fry.
  • Stir in additional grated fresh ginger to the stir fry just before serving to suit your taste.
