Low Fat-Sugar Free Banana Bread image

Steps:

  • Grease loaf pan.
  • I usually just add all the ingredients together and mix.
  • Bake in a 350°F oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
  • Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Store at room temperature up to 3 days or in refrigerator up to 1 week.

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 cup Splenda sugar substitute
2 eggs
1 cup mashed banana
2 tablespoons orange juice or 2 tablespoons low-fat milk

BANANA BREAD NO FAT LESS SUGAR

Tasty banana bread with no eggs or oil, using Splenda brown sugar blend and natural sugars from the banana. Remember to use ripened bananas for best results. Feel free to add chopped walnuts and/or dried cranberries for added texture. Orange zest with the cranberries adds great flavor. Enjoy!

Banana Bread No Fat Less Sugar image

Steps:

  • Grease/flour 9x5 loaf pan.
  • Pre-heat oven to 350.
  • Start with applesauce, add yogurt, bananas cut in slices, remaining ingredients, add flour last.
  • Add chopped walnuts to the top if adding walnuts to the loaf.
  • Bake for 60-70 min at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Check at 60 minutes, time will vary with oven.
  • Cool 10 minute.
  • Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.

2 1/2 cups flour, whole wheat
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup applesauce
3 medium bananas (mashed)
2/3 cup plain nonfat yogurt (vanilla adds flavor especially if you are out of vanilla extract)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup Splenda brown sugar blend
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Spray bottom of 2 loaf pans with Non Fat Butter Flavored Cooking Spray.
  • In a mixing bowl combine Splenda for Baking, Splenda Brown Sugar and apple sauce.
  • Mix in eggs.
  • Measure out 1/2 c Non Fat milk, add lemon juice and stir.
  • Add "soured milk," bananas and vanilla and blend until smooth.
  • Mix in flour, baking soda and salt.
  • Divide batter in half and pour one half into each loaf pan.
  • Place Pans in preheated oven and bake for an hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
