High Octane Buckwheat Pancakes image

Steps:

  • In a small bowl combine the first six ingriedients.
  • in another bowl combine the milk, yogurt, and oil.
  • stir into dry ingriendients until just moistened.
  • pour batter by 1/3 cup spoonfuls into a hot nonstick griddle.
  • turn when bubbles form on top of pancakes.
  • cook until second side is golden brown.

2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
6 tablespoons toasted wheat germ
4 tablespoons sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon nu salt
1 1/3 cups rice milk
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
2 tablespoons canola oil
1/2 cup buckwheat groats

Steps:

  • In a bowl, beat the eggs. Add milk, flour and salt; stir until smooth. Pour butter into a 13x9-in. baking pan. Add batter., Bake at 400° for 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve immediately.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes image

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
  • Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
