Steps:
- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and cook, stirring, until melted. Add the green food coloring and stir until evenly distributed. Remove from the heat, add the cornflakes and stir until well coated.
- Spray your hands with nonstick spray as needed during this step to ease in the shaping of the wreaths. Take 1/3 cup of the mixture and form an even log. Join the ends of the log together to form a wreath. Place the wreath onto one of the prepared baking sheets. Continue with the remaining cornflake mixture.
- Decorate each wreath with 3 small cinnamon candies. Let sit to firm before serving.

Steps:
- 1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter and marshmallows. Stir frequently until you have a smooth mixture.
- 2. Turn off heat and add the vanilla and green food coloring. Stir until blended. Don't worry that the mixture is too green - it will be!
- 3. Stir in the corn flakes until all are coated. Use a folding motion so you don't smash the corn flakes too much.
- 4. Using 2 teaspoons, drop a heaping teaspoon of the mixture onto waxed paper sprinkled with powdered sugar. (I use a sifter to get the sugar onto the paper lightly, since you don't need a lot of the powdered sugar, just a light dusting.)
- 5. Work quickly so the mixture doesn't set up, which makes it hard to get them out of the pan. This recipe can be doubled, but I would recommend you try a single recipe first so you can see how they tend to start setting up.
- 6. After all the holly wreaths are out on the waxed paper, add 1-2 cinnamon decors to simulate the holly berries. (I recommend leaving off the cinnamon candies for small children).
- 7. Let the wreaths sit for about 1-2 hours to dry a bit. Then store in a container on waxed paper. You can make several layers in your container. Hint: if the bottom of the wreath seems too sticky after letting them sit, then lift them off the waxed paper with a spatula and dip the bottom into more powdered sugar before you store them.

CHRISTMAS HOLLY TREATS
Someone brought this in to work and I thought I could copy it without a recipe, and did! Have never worked with marshmallows before, WOW (suggestions appreciated)!! Work fast, it's hot! Hint 1: Buy generic corn flakes at the $1 store! Hint 2: If the "berries" don't stick on the "holly", put the cold holly in the microwave for 20 sec. (on waxed paper) and then add the berries.
