SOY AND HONEY PORK CHOPS
Grilled pork chops brushed with a honey and soy sauce mix. To round out the meal, serve with creamy chive and garlic mashed potatoes.

- Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
- Mix honey, soy sauce, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper in a bowl. Pour about 2 tablespoons of the honey-soy mixture into a small bowl and save for later. Brush chops with canola oil on both sides, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Grill the chops on the hottest part of the grill until lightly charred and crusty, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Move the chops to a cooler area of the grill, and continue to cook, brushing both sides generously with the honey-soy glaze, until chops are no longer pink inside, about 3 to 4 more minutes. The juices should run clear, and an instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the center of a chop should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
- While chops are grilling, brush slices of onion with oil, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Grill onion slices until they are translucent and browned, 3 to 4 minutes per side. To serve, place chops and onions on warmed plates, and brush the chops with the reserved honey-soy glaze.

- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown pork cubes for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often.
- Combine gravy mix, water, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, and garlic salt in a medium bowl. Mix together and add to the skillet, stirring together with the pork. Cover the skillet and cook for about 20 minutes.
- Add carrots and cook for another 10 minutes. Stir in onion and bell pepper and cook for 5 to 10 minutes longer. Stir all together and serve.

- Preheat oven to 375˚F.
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper and set aside.
- Pat dry pork loin with paper towels.
- In a small mixing bowl combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper.
- Lightly spray pork loin with cooking spray. This will make it easier for the spice mix to stick.
- Take the spice mix and rub it all over the pork loin.
- Heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the pork loin until browned on all sides; about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
- Transfer pork loin to previously prepared baking sheet, fat-layer side up; set aside.
- In a bowl, combine garlic, honey, soy sauce, mustard and oil; whisk until well combined. If too thick, add a bit more oil or soy sauce. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the sauce to use for the vegetables.
- Brush remaining honey mixture over the pork loin. Add 1 cup chicken broth in bottom of pan.
- Roast for 25 minutes.
- In the meantime, toss the vegetables with a tablespoon of olive oil and the reserved honey mixture.
- Pull pork roast out of the oven and add the vegetables all around it in one layer. Tent a piece of foil over the pork so the top doesn't burn, but the inside continues to cook.
- Put back in the oven and continue to cook for 25 to 30 more minutes, or until internal temperature of the pork loin reaches 145˚F. Use an Instant Read Thermometer to check for doneness.
- Stir vegetables half way through cooking.
- Remove baking sheet from oven and loosely cover meat and veggies with foil; let rest 10 minutes.
- Cut the pork in slices and serve with veggies. Used potatoes, carrots, and onions.

- Preheat the oven to 400°. Season the pork all over with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the oil until shimmering. Add the pork roast and cook over moderately high heat, turning, until browned all over, about 12 minutes. Transfer the pork to a 12-by-14-inch roasting pan.
- Pour off all of the fat from the skillet. Add the honey and cook over moderate heat, stirring, until it turns a deep amber, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in the soy sauce, then add the demiglace and chicken stock and bring to a boil. Pour the liquid over the pork and roast for about 50 minutes, basting every 10 minutes, until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the meat registers 120°; add 1/4 cup of stock or water to the roasting pan if the juices evaporate too quickly.
- Scatter the carrots, turnips and brussels sprouts around the pork and roast for about 25 minutes longer, basting occasionally, until the pork is glazed and an instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest part registers 150°. Transfer the pork roast to a carving board, tent it with foil and let it rest.
- Return the roasting pan to the oven and roast the vegetables for 20 to 25 minutes longer, until tender. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the vegetables to a medium bowl. Pour the pan juices into another smaller bowl or a gravy boat.
