LEFTOVER ROAST BEEF PIZZA

A left over recipe using Pat Duran's honey pizza dough

Steps:

  • 1. Make Pat's dough as she states or make your own. I used 1/2 of the dough and froze the rest. Pat tells how in her recipe. Link: https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/bread/savory-bread/honey-pizza-dough-homemade.html?page=1#comment727895
  • 2. After rising the dough, divide in half. Freeze other half or double the rest of the ingredients and make two.
  • 3. Shape like a pizza on a pizza pan or cookie sheet. Mix the butter, grapeseed oil and I talian seasonings together and rub over the pizza dough with a spoon or fingers. Then sprinkle the parmesan cheese over that.
  • 4. Next all the beef and the onions. Cover with the Italian cheese and the sprinkle garlic powder over entire pizza.
  • 5. Bake a t 35 degrees about 15 to 20 minutes or until creese in starting to brown. Take out and enjoy. Great TV time pizza as there is no red sauce to kill carpets or coutches

1/2 of prepared pizza dough (i froze other half)
1 Tbsp butter
5 Tbsp grapeseed oil (or olive oil) grapeseed had a lighter taste
1/3 c onion, sliced in rings or chopped
1 1/2 c cooked left over roast beef
1 Tbsp italian seasoning
garlic powder with parsley
1/3 c parmesan cheese
8 oz italian blend shredded cheese

  • Preheat the oven to 475 degrees, with a pizza stone, if you have one,on the bottom rack. You wnat the stone to be very hot, so leave it in there about 45 minutes or the middle of the pizza will be mushy, says Rose. It you don't have a stone, Rose recommends using two layers of heavy-duty aluminum foil. )"You don't even need a freaking pan!").
  • Stretch a premade pizza dough to make a 12-inch round. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on top. Scatter just a handful of mozzarella over the sauce and top that with the roast beef. Top with the remaining mozzarella and bake on a baking sheet or directly on the baking stone until the crust is crisp and the cheese bubbly, about 15 to 18 minutes.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  • Combine all the seasoning ingredients in a medium jar.
  • Trim all the fat from beef round. (I grind the trimmings), but you can cut them up into bite-size pieces and place on the bottom of a roasting pan. Sprinkle the trimmings with some of the seasoning mix. Place the roast beef on top of the trimmings and coat the beef well with more of the seasoning mix. Drizzle olive oil on top of the roast and pat the oil over the seasonings. Place into the preheated oven on lowest rack and roast approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours, uncovered, until the internal temperature registers *130 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer. Remove from oven and let stand about 20 to 30 minutes before carving. This roast can be used for sandwiches, thinly cut or thickly cut and served with beef gravy, if desired.

Juicy Italian Roast Beef image

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Combine the salt, basil,oregano, granulated garlic and onion, and the black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  • Trim all the fat from the beef round. Rosemary grinds the trimmings, but you can cut them up into bite-size pieces. Put the trimmings on the bottom of a roasting pan and sprinkle with some of the seasoning mix. Put the roast beef on top and coat the beef well with more of the seasoning mix. Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the roast and pat it into the seasonings.
  • Roast for 11/2 to 2 hours until the internal temperature registers 130 degrees(medium-rare) on an instant-read thermometer. Remove from the oven and let stand for about 20 minutes before carving.

Steps:

  • Pour water into a large kettle, and add bouillon cubes.
  • Mix together the salt, garlic, Italian seasoning, black pepper, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes on a large plate. Rub roast with 1/2 cup vegetable oil. Roll roast in seasoning mixture until well coated. Place the roast in the kettle along with any left over seasoning mixture and oil.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Lightly brush the pita rounds with 1 teaspoon of the olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning blend.
  • Preheat remaining oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat; add onion and cook until onion begins to brown lightly.
