MACARONI, PINEAPPLE, AND HAM SALAD

This delicious macaroni salad is so refreshing. My husband and I came up with it using ingredients we prefer and we make this regularly during the summer to go with lunches or as a meal on a really hot day. Easy recipe to modify according to your own preferences. Get creative and enjoy!

Macaroni, Pineapple, and Ham Salad image

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, 8 minutes; drain. Transfer hot macaroni to a large bowl.
  • Pour Italian-style salad dressing and crushed pineapple over the macaroni; stir. Add ham, celery, tomatoes, eggs, and onion; stir.
  • Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour.

30-Minute Ham and Pasta Salad image

Steps:

  • Cook and drain pasta as directed on package, adding peas during last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking time. Rinse with cold water to cool. Drain well.
  • Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix ham, celery, bell pepper, pickle relish and cheese. In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients.
  • Add pasta and peas to salad; stir gently to mix. Add mayonnaise mixture; toss to coat. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until serving time.

Ham and Pineapple Pasta Salad image

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add shells and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 9 minutes. Drain and let cool.
  • Heat butter in a medium skillet over medium heat and add ham and brown sugar. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes; do not overcook. Set aside and let cool.
  • Mix mayonnaise and sour cream together in a small bowl. Combine pineapple, grapes, Cheddar cheese, and pineapple juice in a large bowl; mix in mayonnaise mixture, ham mixture, and pasta. Mix well before every serving.

PINEAPPLE AND HAM PASTA SALAD

This is my favorite cold pasta salad. I'll eat it every day, every meal, until its gone. I love the dill and add more than the recipe suggests. This will feed an army. The number of servings is set at 8 but it seems more to me. I usually half the recipe unless I'm doing it for a potluck or company. Refrigeration time is not included in preparation or cook time. Pineapple and Ham Pasta Salad image

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple. In large bowl, combine pineapple, ham, red pepper, peas, celery and macaroni. To make dressing, in 1 quart measure, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, onion powder, black pepper and dill weed. Stir dressing into pineapple mixture. Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours before serving to allow flavors to blend.
