- Place all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake well. Refrigerate until serving. Shake dressing again just before serving.

Sweet and tangy and much better than store bought. Once you make this, you'll be experimenting with alot of other homemade dressings. Most are surprisingly easy.

- Mix all ingredients, except canola oil, together. With wire whisk, slowly whisk in canola oil until well blended.

French dressing is a proportion thing (at least the way I like it) Ive measured it this time around so you can make it for yourself. Hope You like it. It makes a little more than 1 1/2 cups, approximately 13 oz.

- In a small saucepan, combine the cornstarch and water. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the lemon juice, ketchup, sugar, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, mustard, onion powder and garlic powder; cover and process until smooth. While processing, gradually add oil in a steady stream. Process until thickened. Transfer to a bowl; stir in cornstarch mixture. Cover and store in the refrigerator.
