Steps:

  • In a blender, combine milk, banana, vanilla and almond extract.
  • Blend until smooth, about 20 seconds.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, if desired.
  • *Wrapsliced banana in plastic wrap or place in a freezer storage bag.
  • Freeze several hours or overnight.

1 1/2 cups skim milk
1 medium banana, peeled sliced and frozen
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract

When my bananas start to get over ripe I peel them, wrap them and stick them in the freezer for these shakes. These can be modified by changing veggies and fruits.
