Monster Cereal Munch Recipes

Steps:

• In 4-quart microwavable bowl, mix cereal, popcorn, cashews and pumpkin seeds; set aside.
• In medium microwavable bowl, microwave butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and vanilla uncovered on High about 2 minutes or until mixture is boiling, stirring after 1 minute; stir in pumpkin pie spice. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
• Microwave 5 to 6 minutes, stirring and scraping bowl after every minute. Spread on waxed paper to cool, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to break up.
• Stir in candy corn. Store in airtight container.

Steps:

• In large microwavable bowl, microwave baking chips uncovered on High 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth. Stir in oil.
• Gently stir in cereal until evenly coated.
• Spread on waxed paper or foil; top with Halloween sprinkles. Cool until chocolate is set, about 30 minutes. Break into chunks. Store loosely covered.

Steps:

• In a VERY large bowl (or two medium bowls), combine the first 6 ingredients. Set aside.
• In a microwave safe bowl, heat white chips and oil on high for 60 seconds (you could also melt chocolate and oil in a double boiler pan).
• Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds and stir until completely melted and smooth (you may need to microwave for a couple more seconds).
• Pour melted chocolate over cereal mix and stir until all the cereal is evenly covered with white chocolate.
• Spread cereal mix on 2 large baking sheets (I used cookie sheets) lined with wax paper.
• Let cool and then break apart into chunks.
• Store in an airtight container.

• Microwave cereal mixture, 5 to 6 minutes, stirring and scraping down the bowl every minute.
• Spread on waxed paper to cool, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to break up. Stir in candy corn.
