CROCK POT CANDY

A Christmas favorite, as well as Easter. Taste like a gold brick egg.

Steps:

  • 1. Break up bark and put all ingredients in crockpot. Cook on low for 1 hour, stir well and cook another hour. Stir well and drop by teaspoon onto wax paper. Makes about 125 pieces.
  • 2. Optional: raisins, stir in after cooking. Can use any nuts you prefer

24 oz chocolate almond bark
24 oz vanilla almond bark
4 oz german chocolate bar
12 oz milk chocolate chips
16 oz pecans, rough chopped. or 24 oz. peanuts

Steps:

  • In heavy boiler bring sugar, butter, and milk to a boil. Boil hard for 7 minutes. Take off heat and stir in chocolate chips and marshmallows. Beat until thick. Stir in pecans. Pour onto wax paper and spread to 1 inch or less thickness. Let cool. Cut into small squares.

5 cups sugar
1 stick of butter (not margarine)
1 large can or 2 medium cans evaporated milk
2 packages chocolate chips
1 large package marshmallows
1 quart pecans

These pecan pralined graham crackers are so tasty; I've been making them for years...The recipe calls for a whole box of grahams, but you may not use them all, just fill the sheet pan, and you're ready to go!

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325.
  • Separate sections of graham crackers and line on ungreased jelly roll pan so that graham crackers are all touching.
  • Finely chop pecans in the food processor and sprinkle evenly over the grahams.
  • In a saucepan, melt together butter, margarine and sugar. Bring to a boil and stir constantly for 2 minutes.
  • Pour slowly and evenly over the top of the graham crackers and nuts until all are covered.
  • Bake at 325 for 10-15 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • Separate with a knife. Store in an airtight container. These may be frozen.

1 (14 1/2 ounce) box graham crackers
1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
