NAN'S ZIPPY CALIFORNIA DILL DIP
This recipe evolved from what has been one of my favorites since my girlhood days. If there are any leftovers a big dollop is also very tasty on a baked potato or an omelette or in a bowl of tomato soup. Prep time noted doesn't include chilling time.

This dip is addictive! Serve at your next party with corn chip scoops. I got the recipe from "Oh My Stars" a Junior League Cookbook of Roanoake Valley Junior League. Cook time is chill time.

DILL DIP
This is my grandmothers recipe that she got from someone at the bowling alley she used to frequent. She would fix this dip for the family for years until she couldn't cook anymore and now her daughter, my mother fixes it for the family every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Steps:
- Mix sour cream, mayo, dill weed & onion flakes together in a large bowl.
- Then add season salt to taste.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour then serve with potato chips.
- Note 1: You must be careful with the season salt because when the dip is chilled the flavor becomes much stronger.
- Note 2: You can double or triple the recipe to make bigger batches of dill dip.

ZIPPY ITALIAN DIP FOR VEGGIES AND CHIPS
A "quick fixer" with ingredients most people already have on hand. And this is much less expensive! This is the reduced calorie version, but you can switch everything out to regular if you prefer. I'm not a big diet nut, but this one is good.

MOM'S DILL DIP
Everyone always asked my mother for this recipe. I can't eat chopped veggies without it. Works great as an appetizer to get people chomping down on veggies, or as part of a light summer meal.
