Steps:

• Prepare cake mix as directed on box:.
• One boxed yellow cake mix.
• Pour the batter into two 9" cake pans.
• Combind the following ingredients.
• 1/4 cup flour.
• 1/2 cup brown sugar.
• 3 oz slivered almonds.
• 2 TBS melted butter.
• Sprinkle on the crumb topping on to the top of the cake batter.

• 1/4 cup water.
• Heat to a boil and cook until thickened and bubbly. Them remove from heat and let cool in the refrigerator.

• 1 16oz whipping cream.
• 1/4 c sugar.
• Fold the whipping cream mixture into the pineapple mixture.

• PINEAPPLE DREAM CAKE 1 box yellow cake mix 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges 4 eggs 1/2 c. oil Mix together all ingredients with mixer. Pour into four 9 inch layer cake pans that have been greased and floured. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool. ICING: 1 lg. carton whipped topping 1 box (3 oz.) instant vanilla pudding mix (use dry mix) 1 lg. can crushed pineapple (do not drain) 1 sm. cream cheese Mix ingredients with a wooden spoon. Spread on a cooled cake. Store this cake in the refrigerator.

• Mix dry cake mix, eggs, oil and mandarin oranges with juice.
• Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
• Drain the pineapple. Pour 3/4 c juice from the crushed pineapple over the cake while still warm.
• Mix the drained pineapple with the pudding powder and whipped topping. Spread over cooled cake.
• Keep refrigerated.

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Mix together sugar and egg.
• Add flour, walnuts, crushed pineapple, baking soda, baking powder.
• Place thick batter in a 9x13 pan and bake for 30-40 minutes.
• For frosting cream the cream cheese and butter, add vanilla and powder sugar. Frost cool cake.

• Beat cake mix, oil, oranges and eggs together.
• Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes.
• Cool completely.
• Make frosting: Drain a little of the juice off the pineapple and reserve.
• Put the pineapple in a large bowl.
• Sprinkle pudding on top.
• Fold in Cool Whip.
• If this seems stiff, add some of reserved juice.
• Frost cake, and refrigerate until ready to serve.

• Drain the pineapple and mix the juice with the almond extract.
• Slice the pound cake into three layers.
• Drizzle the pineapple juice over the cake layers.
• Combine the pineapple, pudding mix and Cool Whip and spread between the cake layers and over the top and sides.
• Sprinkle with almonds and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
