BANANA OATMEAL COOKIE

This recipe has been handed down in my family for generations. It's a good way to use overripe bananas. It's also a moist cookie that travels well either in the mail or car. This is usually the first cookie to disappear at my house.

OATMEAL CHOCOLATE-CHIP PEANUT-BUTTER BANANA BREAKFAST COOKIES

What makes the perfect breakfast cookie? I've determined that people like a low-sugar cookie. They also really like oatmeal. As far chocolate? Less is more. These breakfast cookies are easy to make, assemble and serve-and are definitely not your average oatmeal-and-raisin cookies.

BANANA OATMEAL BREAKFAST COOKIES

My kids love these cookies, and they are better for you than a lot of traditional breakfast foods out there. They are almost like bite-sized banana bread, as opposed to cookies. I like to buy overripe bananas at the store on sale, peel, and freeze them. They are easy to mash once defrosted.
