OVEN BBQ CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS
A wonderful chicken recipe that can either be nice and gentle, or have a bit of a kick!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place drumsticks in a baking dish.
- Whisk water, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, butter, salt, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and chili powder together in a bowl; pour mixture over drumsticks. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in preheated oven until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 1 hour, turning chicken about halfway through. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

- In a large nonstick skillet, brown chicken in oil. Transfer to an 8-in. square baking dish coated with cooking spray. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, vinegar, steak sauce and hot pepper sauce; pour over chicken., Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a thermometer reads 170°-175°, basting every 15 minutes with sauce.

MY FAVORITE GRILLED CHICKEN EVER
Kelli Bhattacharjee gave me this recipe, which was a winner one year at Versailles Poultry Days. I made a few changes to it and this is hands down my favorite grilled chicken ever! I have literally been making it at least once a week since I've had the recipe. Try it. You won't be disappointed! This is absolutely delicious and makes a very moist and flavorful finished product.

Steps:
- Combine vinegar, water, butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, pepper, sugar, and minced garlic in a pot. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let marinade cool to room temperature, at least 30 minutes.
- Place chicken in a resealable zip-top bag. Pour marinade over chicken, seal, and marinate, 8 hours to overnight.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Transfer chicken pieces to the grill, shaking off excess marinade; discard remaining marinade.
- Grill chicken until no longer pink in the center, 30 to 45 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

OLD-FASHIONED BARBECUE CHICKEN
Steps:
- Heat a smoker to 250˚F.
- Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels. Apply the chicken rub all over the exposed areas of the chicken pieces. Place the seasoned chicken pieces in a deep aluminum baking pan, and place the pan in the smoker. Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
- Remove the wings, wrap them in aluminum foil, and keep them warm in an oven on the lowest setting. Return the rest of the chicken to the smoker and cook for an additional 1 1/2 hours, or until the internal temperature of the white meat reaches 165°F and the dark meat reaches 180°F.
- Remove the pan from the smoker. Allow the chicken to rest, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Then serve immediately.

- Remove 1 1/2c of mix; cover& refrigerate.
- Place chicken in lg zip bag.
- Add rest of marinade, seal& toss to coat; Chill overnight, turning several times Oil grill rack; 4-5inches from heat.
- Prepare med.
- fire& place legs and thighs on for 10 mins& then add other pieces.
- Cover leaving vent open, cook turning often for 30-35 mins Internal temps should be 170 for breasts, 180 thighs, legs and wings.
- Heat sauce in fridge and brush each piece generously.
- Garnish with watercress.
