Before the days of the cornbread mix casserole Grandma made this corn casseole ands it is GOOD!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- 2. Mix corn, crumbled bacon, eggs, onion, bell pepper, milk, and crushed crackers in prepared baking dish, and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, until the casserole is thickened and bubbling.

- Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Pour into a buttered 12 X 9 (I think that's the size, the card is faded) casserole pan.
- Bake at 350 for 35-40 minute or until center is set.

It's amazing to know that this corn pudding originally appeared in a Kansas cookbook dated 1854! This time-tested recipe is wonderful, and I've served it often to my family and guests. It's also a recipe I've shared with many of my friends who've requested it.
