PAN FRIED PORK CHOPS

Pan Fried Pork Chops image

Steps:

  • Salt and pepper both sides of the pork chops.
  • Combine the flour and some cayenne, salt and black pepper. Dredge each side of the pork chops in the flour mixture, and then set aside on a plate.
  • Heat the canola oil over medium to medium-high heat. Add the butter. When the butter is melted and the butter/oil mixture is hot, cook 3 pork chops at a time, 2 to 3 minutes on the first side. Flip and cook until the chops are golden brown on the other side, 1 to 2 minutes (make sure no pink juices remain). Remove to a plate and repeat with the remaining pork chops.
  • Delicious and simple! Serve with smashed new potatoes.

1 teaspoon seasoned salt, plus more for seasoning
1 teaspoon ground black pepper, plus more for seasoning
8 pork breakfast chops

Pan Fry Pork Chop with Garlic image

Steps:

  • 1. Wash the pork chop and use a meat hammer to tenderize it. Then cut the fat around the sides.
  • 2. Use a food processor to grind together the garlic, onion and ginger.
  • 3. Prepare Marinate: Melted sugar with a little water and add soy sauce , wine , sesame oil , soy sauce , salt , pepper , chicken knorr , water , and other seasonings.
  • 4. Add marinate mixture and onions, garlic and ginger mixture with the pork chops. Marinate for about 30 minutes.
  • 5. Flour the pork to make it crispy on the outside
  • 6. Add oil to a frying pan and add garlic fry until cooked. Remove garlic clove and keep the oil.
  • 7. Turn to medium heat and fry pork chop on one side and cover with lid pan to keep moisture in. Then flip the pork over and continue the same process. Once golden brown remove from pan and enjoy!

2 Tbsp fresh ginger
1 tsp sesame oil

  • Tenderize the pork chops with a fork. Place the pork chops on a large plate or baking sheet. (Optional — place a wire rack on a baking sheet.) Prick the chops all over with a fork, about 1/8 inch deep. Flip the pork chops and repeat pricking the other side.
  • Brine the pork chops. Place the water, salt, and brown sugar in a gallon zip-top bag and stir to dissolve the salt and sugar. Add the pork chops and seal the bag. Place the bag on a rimmed baking sheet and arrange so that the pork chops are sitting in a single layer. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and up to 8 hours.
  • Drain and pat the chops dry. Remove the pork chops from the brine and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and sear. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot and just beginning to smoke. Add the pork chops and cook for 1 minute on each side — they should begin to brown and release some fat into the pan.
