A nice twist to your standard shrimp salad. I made this recipe when I had tons of dill in my garden and needed something to do with it. Enjoy!

FIESTA PASTA SALAD WITH DILL PICKLES
This dill pickle pasta salad salad has so many different colors that it looks as though there is confetti in it. There is a thousand variations to this salad! My mother adds ham and asparagus to it. I usually use tri-colored pasta in this salad to add even more color. Also I serve green onions on the side. All my friends and family love this so much. I don't think I would be invited on our annual family camping trip if I didn't bring this salad.

CUCUMBER DILL PASTA SALAD
There are lots of pasta salad recipes here but I don't see this particular variation. I love dill in most anything and combined with cucumbers and pasta, it's tart/creamy comfort food to me. For even more color & crunch, radishes could be added for another twist. You may need to adjust the mayo and sour cream amounts - I don't really measure it so I've guessed. I start with a large dollop of each then add till I get the texture and taste that I want. Update: Thanks to the first reviewer for finding my typo with the salt; it has been corrected.

Steps:
- Cook shells per package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Drain again.
- In large bowl combine pasta with green onions and cucumbers.
- In another bowl, blend together dressing ingredients, adding more or less of ingredients to get the right taste for you.
- Toss dressing with pasta and refrigerate. Serve cold.
- Note: If refrigerated for long, the cucumbers will "weep" and make the salad less than appealing. Plan to eat this within 2 hours of making.

DILL PICKLE PASTA SALAD
This is a tangy pasta salad that is quick to make and tasty to eat. It's great as a side dish or a light meal. I first made this for my husband and myself because it was too hot in our apartment to cook for any length of time and too hot to want a hot meal!

DILL VEGETABLE-PASTA SALAD
"My husband and I often have this delicious pasta salad for lunch or a light supper in the summertime-in lieu of a big meal," writes Darnell Griffin from her home in Estes Park, Colorado. Chunks of cheese and fresh vegetables eliminate the need for meat, and a light and creamy dill dressing replaces a heavy pasta sauce. Try it!
