Bran Flake Peanut Butter Bars image

Steps:

  • Mix together chocolate chips, milk and butter in a small saucepan. Heat until the chocolate chips have melted.
  • Heat the honey in the microwave for 10 seconds. (just to help it work in better)
  • Pour honey onto the bran flakes and mix them together. Add craisins and peanuts.
  • Stir in chocolate chip mixture.
  • Spread into a small pan and put into the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

Steps:

  • Butter square pan, 8x8x2 inches. Heat brown sugar and corn syrup just to boiling in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and cinnamon until smooth.
  • Stir in cereal and peanuts or almonds until evenly coated. Press firmly in pan. Let stand about 1 hour or until set. Cut into 4 rows by 3 rows. Store loosely covered at room temperature.

  • 1. In medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Set aside.2. Measure KELLOGG'S COMPLETE Wheat Bran Flakes cereal and milk into large mixing bowl. Let stand about 2 minutes or until cereal is softened. Add peanut butter and egg. Beat well. Stir in flour mixture. Spread batter evenly in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.3. Bake at 350°F about 1 hour or until done. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely before slicing.

Beat at high speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in enough additional flour to make stiff dough. Switch to the mixer’s dough hook and knead for about 5 minutes or until dough is smooth and elastic. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, spray an 8 ½ by 4 ½ inch loaf pan with cooking spray and line the bottom with a strip of parchment (optional).
