Pepper Pecan Dip Recipes
PECAN DIP
Steps:
- 1. Combine cream cheese, green pepper, onion, garlic salt, pepper and sour cream.
- 2. Mix well and put in a serving bowl.
- 3. Melt butter in skillet; add pecans and salt. Toast over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 4. Spoon over cheese mixture.
- 5. Serve at room temperature with crackers.
PEPPER-PECAN DIP
This dip is a great combination of nuts, savory cheese, and sweet red pepper jelly. I enjoyed it at my in-law's this Christmas. It's great with wheat thins or other crackers.

SAVORY CREAM CHEESE AND PINEAPPLE PARTY DIP
This is one of my "back pocket" recipes for a quick and tasty party dip. I've had people ask me if it is chicken salad, because the pineapple adds a texture that is similar to shredded chicken, and the savory ingredients mask the pineapple flavor. It's perfect for a little bite before a meal or a satisfying afternoon snack on your favorite crackers. If you like, you can sneak in some vegetables, and serve it on celery sticks, or those little tri-color mini bell peppers, cut in half.

- Combine cream cheese, crushed pineapple, pecans. bell pepper, most of the green onion, and salt in a bowl, reserving some of the green onion tops for garnish.

- Preheat broiler. Place peppers on a baking sheet and place 4 to 6 inches from the broiler. Broil until charred on top, then turn. Repeat until all sides are charred. Place peppers in heat-proof bowl and cover. Let stand 20 minutes or until cool enough to handle. Remove stems, skins and seeds.
- In a food processor, combine roasted red peppers, pecans, bread crumbs, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, honey, garlic, cumin, salt and cayenne pepper. Pulse until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Best if prepared at least one hour in advance to allow the flavors to marry. Serve with pita or crudites and drizzle with additional olive oil.
