This is a tasty sweet salad to accompany a meal or can stand alone as a dessert. It also makes a great anytime snack. Very refreshing and not too heavy. It is also good put in muffin cups and frozen. Yummy.

1 container Cool Whip
1 can sweetened condensed milk
8 ounces sour cream
1 can crushed pineapple, drained well
1 (16 ounce) can cherry pie filling
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Fluffy Pink Fruit Salad image

Steps:

Drain cherries, reserving 1/3 cup juice (save remaining juice for another use). Cut cherries in half; set aside. , In a bowl, beat cream cheese and reserved cherry juice until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Fold in cherries, pineapple, fruit cocktail, peaches, bananas and marshmallows. Transfer to a serving bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Make sure that your whipped topping is completely thawed (by placing it in the refrigerator overnight). Also make sure that your pineapple is very well drained. I like to put the pineapple in a mesh colander and then squeeze it dry with a towel.
In a large bowl, stir together condensed milk, cherry pie filling, and drained crushed pineapple. Gently fold in the whipped topping just until combined.
