PRESSURE-COOKER BEEF TIPS
These beef tips remind me of a childhood favorite. I cook them with mushrooms and serve over brown rice, noodles or mashed potatoes. Here's one of the best Instant Pot recipes for a quick and easy dinner. -Amy Lents, Grand Forks, North Dakota

- Select saute setting on a 6-qt. electric pressure cooker and adjust for medium heat. Add 2 teaspoons oil. Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper. Brown meat in batches, adding oil as needed. Transfer meat to a bowl. , Add wine to cooker, stirring to loosen browned bits. Press cancel. Return beef to cooker; add the mushrooms, onion, broth and Worcestershire sauce. Lock lid; close the pressure-release valve. Adjust to pressure-cook on high for 15 minutes. Quick-release pressure. , Select saute setting and adjust for low heat; bring liquid to a boil. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth; gradually stir into beef mixture. Cook and stir until sauce is thickened, 1-2 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes.

PRESSURE COOKER BBQ BEEF
Steps:
- Brown stew meat in oil, drain and set aside. Place stew meat in pressure cooker and fill 2/3 of the way with water. Close pressure cooker and heat until the counter-weight starts to rattle. Cook for 15-20 minutes while the counter-weight rattles. Remove from heat and place the pressure cooker in sink. *DO NOT REMOVE THE COUNTER-WEIGHT* Run cold water over the pressure cooker and using a fork, gently push the weight to one side to release steam pressure. When pressure is released, open pressure cooker and drain the water.
- In a separate pan, saute onion in oil until clear. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Using a sturdy potato masher, mash the cooked beef in the pressure cooker until shredded. Add sauce, stir and heat through. Serve hot on sandwich buns.

- Select saute or browning setting on a 6-qt. electric pressure cooker and adjust for medium heat; add oil. Brown ribs in batches, adding additional oil as needed. Remove ribs. Brown onions. Add ribs back to the pressure cooker. Add water. Lock lid; close pressure-release valve. Adjust to pressure-cook on high for 40 minutes. Let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes and then quick-release any remaining pressure., In a small saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients; cook and stir over medium heat until heated through. Remove ribs from pressure cooker; discard cooking juices. Return ribs to pressure cooker. Pour sauce over top. Lock lid; close pressure-release valve. Adjust to pressure-cook on low for 5 minutes. Allow pressure to naturally release for 5 minutes and then quick-release any remaining pressure. Serve ribs with sauce.

- Combine beef, jalepeno, onion, garlic, and spices and let set aside in the rerigerator for 30-60 minutes.
- Heat 1 tsp oil in your pressure cooker over medium high heat and brown half of the meat and set aside. Repeat with the second half of oil and meat.
- Deglaze the Pressure cooker with the water and add the beef base and put browned meat back inches.
- Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes and allow a natural release.
- Remove beef with a slotted spoon and stir barbeque sauce into the cooking liquid. Cook over medium heat for about 5-10 minutes until sauce has reduced and is thickened. Add meat back into the sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve. (Prep time includes refrigerator time).

- In a crock pot on low, place steak pieces on the bottom.
- Add Worcestershire Sauce, Italian Dressing, Garlic Pepper Seasoning & Barbecue Sauce. Stir to mix.
- Cook on low for 3 - 4 hours or until internal temperature of beef comes to 160*F (Medium).
- Once beef comes to 160*F, in a small bowl, mix together the water & corn starch. Add to steak mixture and mix.

- If using a roast cut it into 4 equal pieces. Smaller pieces will yield more tender pieces quicker. Season each piece on all sides with at least salt and pepper. Chili pepper can be added for heat.
