QUICK AND EASY GUACAMOLE

I started making guacamole this way after eating at one of my student's mom's restaurant. I absolutely loved her guacamole, so I tried to recreate it.

Steps:

  • Combine avocado, green onion, cilantro, seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic, and lime juice in a bowl; mash with a spoon or potato masher until mostly smooth with small chunks.

2 avocados - peeled, pitted, and diced
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
½ lime, juiced

SIMPLE GUACAMOLE

Because avocados can brown quickly, it's best to make this guacamole just before serving. If you have to make it a little in advance, place the avocado pit in the guacamole until ready to serve. -Heidi Main, Anchorage, AK

  • Peel and chop avocados; place in a small bowl. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Add salsa and salt; mash coarsely with a fork. Refrigerate until serving.

  • add in 1 cup of salsa and mix both ingrediants.
  • once mixed, add in garlic salt and salt.
  • season to taste.
