Quick & Easy Brown Sugar Chicken image

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Place chicken in high heat oven-safe dish.
  • 2. Combine garlic, brown sugar & oil. Pour over chicken.
  • 3. Bake chicken uncovered for 15-20 minutes. ** I serve this over teryaki rice usually. Sometimes with parmesan pasta and broccoli. **

5 Tbsp minced garlic
5 Tbsp brown sugar
5 tsp olive oil
5 chicken breasts, thawed boneless and skinless

Super Easy Brown Sugar Chicken image

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook until slightly brown, about 2 minutes. Add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 12 to 15 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  • Sprinkle brown sugar over chicken and cook until melted into the chicken, about 5 minutes. Remove chicken to a plate and keep warm.
  • Stir together water and cornstarch in a small bowl. Pour into the skillet and increase heat to medium-high. Cook and stir, picking up all the little bits from the pan, until thickened, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve over the chicken.

  • Place chicken in slow cooker.
  • Mix all remaining ingredients.
  • Pour over chicken and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • For variety: Add steamed broccoli just before serving, or add chunked pineapple 30- 45 minutes before serving.

Amazing and Easy Chicken Wings image

Steps:

  • Mix brown sugar, mustard, and soy sauce together in a bowl. Measure 1/4 cup marinade for basting and transfer to a small bowl; cover and refrigerate.
  • Place wings in a large resealable bag. Pour remaining marinade over wings, coating well. Seal and marinate wings at least 2 hours and up to overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Remove chicken wings from resealable bag and transfer to a baking sheet. Discard marinade.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Baste wings with reserved 1/4 cup marinade; cook, basting every 10 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink in the center, about 30 more minutes.

  • Slice the chicken breasts in the half through the equator to create 4 fillets. Cover with plastic wrap and pound to an even thickness. Pat dry.
  • Whisk the flour and all chicken seasoning together in a shallow dish. Reserve 1 tablespoon to use later in the sauce. Dredge each breast in the remaining flour mixture, shake off any excess, then transfer to a dry surface.
  • Melt the 2 tablespoons butter in 2 tablespoons oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add chicken and cook for 4-5 (depending on thickness) per side until golden and cooked through. Transfer chicken to a plate, don't wipe out skillet.
  • Mix chicken broth with cornstarch and add to the skillet, followed by all of the sauce ingredients, including the 1 tablespoon reserved flour mixture. Bring sauce to a simmer while scraping up any brown bits on the bottom of the pan; simmer until sauce thickens to desired consistency, stirring often. Taste the sauce and add additional lemon juice for tangier/less sweet if desired.
