  • We make 5 small smoothies in this recipe. Toss all ingredients for 1 color in the blender and then stack the fruit smoothies in a glass so that you get a rainbow smoothie. In between we put the glasses in the freezer, so the layers become nice and straight. Why do we use 3 frozen bananas for this smoothie? Frozen banana makes a smoothie deliciously thick and creamy, almost milkshake-like!
  • Start with the blueberry smoothie. Blend all ingredients into a nice smoothie. Divide the purple mini smoothie between two long drink glasses and put the glasses in the freezer when you start making the next color. After the blueberry smoothie, make the spinach smoothie, then the pineapple smoothie, the mango smoothie and finally the strawberry smoothie. Is your smoothie still too thick? Add a little water or pineapple juice (if you use canned pineapple).
