SAUSAGE EGG BISCUIT CASSEROLE

I found this recipe posted on Facebook and change a bit to accommodate for a large crowd. There is many ways to make this a "quick dish" by using egg beaters and already cook sausage. Plus you could change the ingredients to make it less fat and healthier option.

Sausage Egg Biscuit Casserole image

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan and set to the side.
  • 2. Brown pork sausage and drain. While browning sausage, open biscuit can and place in baking dish. Mix together eggs and milk. Add Salt & Black pepper to taste to the egg mix.
  • 3. Put sausage over biscuits. Then pour egg mix over biscuits. Spread cheese over top evenly.
  • 4. Bake in Oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Let dish sit for 5 minutes before enjoying.

1 can(s) buttermilk grand biscuits
1 lb pork sausage ground
8 eggs
3/4 c milk
1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1 c shredded cheddar chesse
salt & pepper to taste

Very filling and delicious! For the biscuits I used Grands Jr. butter tasting. There were 10 biscuits in a pack and they all fit! This is a keeper for sure!

Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit Casserole image

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 11x8 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside. In a large nonstick skillet cook sausage over medium-high heat stirring occasionally until sausage is browned and crumbly. Drain well. Sprinkle sausage and cheese into prepared dish. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, thyme, garlic salt and pepper. Pour over sausage mixture. Arrange biscuits evenly over top. Bake for 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 15 minutes longer. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.

1 lb ground pork breakfast sausage
1 c italian 5 cheese blend, shredded
4 large eggs
3/4 c whipping cream
1 Tbsp dried thyme
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
10 oz can butter tasting biscuits

Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Scramble image

Steps:

  • Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and chop into bite-size pieces; set aside.
  • While sausage is cooking, beat eggs and milk together. Pour eggs into griddle. Add cheese and cook until eggs are set. Stir in sausage and serve warm.

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir in sausage. Cook and stir until sausage is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Drain and discard any excess grease.
  • Beat eggs in a large bowl; stir in milk, salt, and mustard. Fold bread cubes, Cheddar cheese, and sausage into egg mixture. Pour into a lightly greased 7x11-inch baking dish. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove casserole from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  • Bake in preheated oven until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean, about 40 minutes.
