Slow-Cooker Italian Sausages and Peppers with Rotini image

Steps:

Place Reynolds™ Slow Cooker Liners inside a 5- to 6 1/2 -qt slow cooker bowl. Make sure that liner fits snugly against the bottom and sides of bowl and pull the top of the liner over rim of bowl. In cooker liner, mix all ingredients except pasta and cheese.
Cover; cook on Low heat setting 6 to 8 hours.
Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. Serve sausage mixture over pasta; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Steps:

Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off grease and set aside.
Saute peppers and onions in 2 tablespoons hot oil over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Stir in tomatoes, broth, and sausage; cook 3 minutes or until tomatoes are tender and mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat; add cooked pasta to tomato mixture and stir.
Sprinkle with cheese and parsley.
Serve.

Cut sausage into 4 or 5" pieces and brown on all sides in batches in skillet. Saute peppers, onions, and garlic in drippings. Combine tomato puree, sauce, and paste in bowl. Add seasonings and sugar. Layer half of sausage, onions, and peppers in 6qt cooker. Cover with half the tomato mixture. Repeat layers. Cover. Cook on high 1 hour and low 5-6 hours. Serve over pasta or Italian rolls. AWESOME!

Over medium-high, heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add sausage links, and cook for about 2 minutes each side, just until they get brown (but the sausage will not be cooked though). Place them on a cutting board, slice them and place in the slow cooker.
Add onions and cook for about 2 minutes. Stir constantly. Then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Transfer onions and garlic to the slow cooker.
In the same skillet add mushroom (if necessary pour more olive oil in the skillet) and cook for 2 minutes or until they get a nice golden color. Transfer to the slow cooker.
