EASY PORK CHOPS WITH CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP

Easy Pork Chops with Cream of Mushroom Soup image

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix together flour, salt, and pepper in a rimmed plate. Dredge pork chops in flour mixture; shake off excess.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook, turning halfway, until browned on both sides, about 2 minutes per side. Place chops in an 11x17-inch baking dish.
  • Stir canned soup and water together in a small bowl until well blended. Pour over pork chops and sprinkle with 1/2 of the fried onions.
  • Cover and bake in the preheated oven until bubbling, about 50 minutes. Stir in sour cream and top with remaining onions.
  • Return to the oven and bake, uncovered, until sauce is hot, about 10 minutes more.

Baked Pork Chops with Cream of Mushroom Soup image

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Place sliced onion pieces on the bottom of a glass baking dish. Lay pork chops over the onions. Cover chops evenly with cream of mushroom soup. Add water and bouillon to the top, breaking up bouillon cubes to get the flavor spread out. Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven, stirring the gravy once or twice, until no longer pink in the centers, about 1 hour. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a chop should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

  • first drizzle baking pan with extra virgin olive oil. flip chops in olive oil.cut onion into rings, sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. spread mushrooms evenly on chops. pour Country Bob's sauce on chops.then put a spoonful of soup on each chop. Now top each chop with bacon strip.Make sure oven is preheated to 350 degrees. bake til bacon is cooked to a crispy strip and chops are cooked through and no longer pink.cook time approximately 1hour.

My kids really like these made with the tomato soup but it can be made with cream of mushroom soup too. These are pretty simple to make and the chops come out really tender. I usually serve these with rice.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Brown pork chops and arrange in a 9x13 pan.
  • In a pan over low heat mix together the soup, water and oregano.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in 1/2 of the can the french fried onions and the sour cream.
  • Pour over the pork chops in the pan.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour or until pork chops are tender.
  • Remove the foil and sprinkle the rest of the french fried onions over the chops.
  • Bake 5 minutes longer.

6 pork chops (cut 1/2-3/4 inches thick)
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup or 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon oregano (or 1/2 tsp thyme if using mushroom soup)
