  • In a large bowl, combine the stuffing, onion, celery and parsley. In a small bowl, beat the egg substitute; stir in broth and butter. Pour over stuffing mixture. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper; stir well., Pound steak to 1/2-in. thickness. Spread 1-1/2 cups stuffing mixture over steak. Roll up, starting with a short side; tie with string. Place in a 5-qt. slow cooker. Remaining stuffing can be wrapped tightly in foil and placed over the rolled steak., Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until a thermometer inserted in stuffing reads 160° and meat is tender. Remove string before slicing.

  • Flatten steaks to 1/4-in. thickness; set aside. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; using a slotted spoon, remove to paper towels. Drain, reserving 3 tablespoons drippings. , Saute onion in the drippings. Add the croutons, parsley, salt, celery salt, sage, pepper and bacon. Spread over each steak to within 1 in. of edges. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; tie with kitchen string., Place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Pour broth over steaks. Cover and bake at 325° for 1 hour. Drizzle with tomato sauce. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until meat is tender., Remove meat to a serving platter and keep warm. Pour drippings and loosened brown bits into a measuring cup; skim fat. In a saucepan, combine cornstarch and water until smooth; gradually stir in drippings. Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Heat one tablespoon of the oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Combine the garlic, onions, mushrooms, salt, and pepper in the pan and cook until almost all of the moisture has evaporated and the onions are caramelizing, 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Lay the flank steak on a cutting board. Add salt and pepper on both sides, to taste.
  • Spoon the mushroom and onion mixture on top, spreading it evenly across the steak. Sprinkle the spinach on top, followed by the slices of provolone. Press down lightly to compress the spinach.
  • Starting at the bottom of the flank steak, roll it up tightly, making sure the grain of the meat is running horizontally. Use six toothpicks to secure the steak roll. Slice the steak roll into six equal rolls.
  • Heat the remaining oil in a pan over high heat. Sear the steak rolls on one side for one to two minutes, then flip. Sear the second side for about one minute, then bake for 10-15 minutes, until medium rare.
  • Remove the toothpicks, then serve!
  • Enjoy!

  • Slightly score flank steak on each side at 1 inch intervals.
  • Combine stuffing with beef broth, butter and cheese.
  • Spread mustard over flank steak, then spread stuffing over steak and roll up like a jelly roll.
  • Tie with string.
  • Rub with oil sprinkle with salt and pepper on the outside and put into crock pot.
  • Mix gravy and water.
  • Pour over meat.
  • Cover and cook low, 8 hours.

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Prepare Stuffing, any recipe will do. I like Stovetop, it's quick and tasty!
  • Heat oil and stir fry diced steak until 3/4 done. (You may add pepper or any seasonings you like during this step.).
  • Add steak to stuffing mix and toss together well.
  • In large saucepan, mix 1 1/2 cups Water with both packages of Brown Gravy Mix. Whisk continually on High heat until it boils, then for about one minute more. Mixture will thicken into gravy when done. (You may substitute any prepared gravy recipe you like.).
  • Place steak and stuffing mixture in baking pan or casserole dish.
  • (Optional) Sprinkle diced peppers over mixture.
  • Pour gravy over top.
  • Fluff slightly with fork so that gravy seeps down through the mixture.
  • Bake at least 30 minutes. This may be kept in the oven for up to two hours without drying out too much due to the gravy, and the longer you bake it, the better it tastes!

  • Remove the fat from around the ham steaks; using whole cloves stud the ham and keep aside.
  • Add celery and onion to butter and sauté for about 10 minutes. Toss slightly after adding bread cubes, cinnamon, egg, parsley and salt.
