Strawberry Banana Dessert Recipes

Steps:

• Layer banana slices and cake cubes in a 13-in. x 9-in. dish coated with cooking spray. Place strawberries over cake and press down gently. , In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in cold water. Pour over strawberries. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until set. Frost with whipped topping.

• Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together in a bowl.
• Whisk eggs and confectioners' sugar together in a large bowl. Add milk, 1 teaspoon oil, and vanilla extract; mix well to combine. Add flour mixture; stir until just combined. Gently fold bananas and strawberries into batter.
• Heat 1/4 cup oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Scoop 1/4 cup batter at a time into the oil and fry fritters, in batches, until light golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Toss bananas with lemon juice; drain and set aside. , Place half of the cake cubes in a trifle bowl or 3-qt. serving bowl. Layer with half of the pudding, bananas, strawberry sauce and whipped cream. Repeat layers. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Garnish with additional fruit if desired.
