Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 400F degrees.
  • In a frying pan over medium high heat fry onions and peppers until tender.
  • Slice sausage about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Fry sausage in pan with peppers and onions for 5-10 minutes.
  • Drain off excess fat.
  • Pour sausage mixture into a shallow baking dish.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes until crispy.
  • Great served with au gratin potatoes or macaroni and cheese.

Oven Baked Kielbasa and Potatoes image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Spray a baking dish with cooking spray (Pam) until well coated.
  • Place cut up potatoes, onions, and kielbasa in the baking dish.
  • Place baking dish in the oven.
  • Cover with foil.
  • After 30 minutes remove baking dish from the oven.
  • Remove foil and stir the vegetables and meat.
  • Return the baking dish back to the oven, without the foil, and continue to bake for another 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven; stir and serve.

4 -6 large potatoes, chunked
2 large onions, sliced
1 lb kielbasa, sliced
Pam cooking spray

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together soup, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir in potatoes and kielbasa. Spoon into a 7x11 inch casserole dish.
  • Place casserole on a baking sheet, and bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

  • Set Sun Oven out to preheat. Toss the sauerkraut with the green onions in a baking pan. Scatter the kielbasa over the sauerkraut. Spread the mashed potatoes on top, cover the pan with tin foil and a tea towel. Bake in the Sun Oven until heated through, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Remove tea towel and foil, sprinkle the cheese on top and leave in the Sun Oven until melted, 5 to 10 minutes.
