Ginger Beer Lime Rickey image

Steps:

  • Fill 4 tall glasses with crushed ice. Combine the ginger beer, club soda, lime juice and grenadine in a pitcher. Pour over the ice. Garnish with lime rounds and/or cherries.

4 cups ginger beer
1 cup club soda or seltzer water
3 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 cup grenadine
Lime rounds and/or maraschino cherries, for garnish

Steps:

  • Pour beer into a large pitcher. Add still-frozen limeade and stir to combine. (Stirring with a metal utensil can reduce foam.) Allow foam to settle. Squeeze half a lime into pitcher. Finely slice the other lime half and place into pitcher, for garnish. Pour into chilled glasses and serve cold.

1 (6-pack) light beer
1 can frozen limeade
1 lime, sliced in half

Steps:

  • In skillet, brown chicken in oil.
  • When cooked inside, add the juice of lime and cover with enough beer to just go over tops of chick.
  • Cover and let cook until juices condense.
  • Do not freak out, sometimes it takes awhile for this to happen.
  • I have often thought it was going to be a watery mess for ever but when it happens-pow!
  • In a matter of minutes you will have a lovely tart brown glaze on the chicken.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Goes very nicely with rice.
