TUNA SALAD PLATE
A salad made with Solid White Albacore Tuna (In Water), crisp vegetables and Fresh Garden Herbs. Served with Fresh Garden Tomatoes and sliced Dill Pickles.

Steps:
- In a large bowl combine tuna, lemon juice, garlic powder, thyme, celery salt, white pepper and mayonnaise. use a Pastry Knife to mix the tuna. Season with fine sea salt and white pepper to taste.
- Add green onions, carrots, cilantro, sweet pickle relish and hard-boiled egg. Mix salad until all ingredients are combined.
- Season Tuna Salad with fine sea salt and white pepper to taste.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 20-minutes.
- Place romaine lettuce leaves on salad plate and add tuna. Place sliced tomatoes, dill pickles on plate and serve.
- Garnish with Fresh Cilantro Sprigs.

- Put the beets in one kettle and the potatoes in a second. Add cold water to cover and salt to taste to each kettle. Bring to the boil. Let the potatoes cook about 25 minutes and the beets about 25 to 45 minutes or until each vegetable is tender. Drain and let cool.
- Peel both the beets and potatoes.
- Slice the beets and potatoes into a large mixing bowl. There should be about five cups of potatoes and four cups of beets. Add the onions, tuna and anchovies.
- Put the mustard in a mixing bowl and add the vinegar, stirring with a wire whisk. Gradually add the oil, stirring vigorously with the whisk. Season to taste with the pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the salad. Add the parsley and dill and toss to blend.

THE BEST TUNA SALAD
While we love many kinds of tuna salad, this classic version tops them all. The crispy celery and red onion give add zest and crunch, while mayonnaise and touch of mustard marry it all together. The lemon juice is optional as it's not traditional, but we strongly recommend it to brighten up the flavors of the final dish.

- In a small mixing bowl break up the tuna with a fork. Toss with the celery, onion and parsley. Add the mayonnaise, mustard and season with pepper, to taste. Stir to combine. Add lemon juice, to taste, if using.
THON EN SALADE (SWISS TUNA SALAD PLATE)
Adapted from Woman's Day Encyclopedia of Cookery. This somewhat resembles tuna Nicoise, but is much simpler and contains mayonnaise. I have changed the recipe from 7 ounce cans of tuna to 6 ounce cans, and reduced the amount of mayonnaise slightly. You can substitute curry powder for the paprika and capers for the parsley.

- Mash tuna with a fork.
- Add 3 tablespoons mayonnaise and mix well.
- Mound tuna mixture in the center of a serving platter.

- Strain.
- Mix in paprika.
- Pour mayonnaise mixture over tuna.

My husband and I have been making this salad on hot nights when it is to hot to cook for 46 years now ~ we always enjoy it! I have two pictures posted, one with eggs and one without ! So easy and sometimes we use crabmeat, very vesitile and satisfying as well ! Hope you will give it a try too.

HEALTHY TUNA SALAD OR TUNA CEVICHE
This recipe has been called both tuna salad but it really has little that resembles the typical tuna salad. My friends have also called it tuna ceviche and it would be a little more accurate at describing what this is. Is really healthy and it goes well with crackers or on tostadas. I make very little because I'm the only one who eats it so feel free to double or triple the recipe for bigger parties.

- Cook your corn by preferred method. I usually buy unhusked corn and stick it 4 minutes in the microwave after I've soaked it in water for a 1 minute or 2.
- Shave off the cooked corn kernels from the cob and add kernels into a bowl.
- Mix in remaining ingredients, except for the lemon or lime juice, salt, and pepper. Feel free to seed the serrano pepper if you're not used to spicy food.
- Add lemon or lime juice slowly and mix add more or less according to taste.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve as topping on tostadas or on crackers.
