THYME FOR TEA
Thyme tea is a wonderful winter time drink It is a a powerful antiseptic, antibacterial infection and inflammation reliever. For a wonderful refreshing blend try Lemon-thyme! I love it straight but you can add sugar or honey if you prefer. But sip it plain first it is one of very few herbs you don't need to sweeten to get down. If you grow thyme you can dry it and put in the press and seal tea bags, to give as gifts for those sick co-workers.

THYME TEA
Teatime? Try this thyme tea (actually a tisane). The herb gets steeped with coriander and fennel seeds -- a nice break from the usual herbal tea assortments.

THYME FOR FRENCH HEALING TEA!
I hear that the French sip this tea for pure pleasure, but it is also soothingly healing for sore throats, upper respiratory troubles, and tummy bugs. This recipe calls for only one herbal ingredient, and you probably have it in your kitchen pantry. As you sip your drink, take a moment to think of cozy French farmhouses surrounded by fields just beginning to thaw after the long cold winter. Oh, for the simple life..... French Tart, I am thinking of you! Adapted from Cait Johnson, Assistant Producer, Care2 Healthy Living Channels.
