MACARONI TUNA CASSEROLE
This dish is so easy to fix, and the flavor is better than any tuna helper I've ever tried. It was a staple when I was in college since a box of macaroni and cheese and a can of tuna cost so little. -Suzanne Zick, Osceola, Arkansas

WACKY MAC TUNA CASSEROLE
In all my years, I have never had tuna noodle casserole and truth be known, never had a big desire to even try it. I've been studying tuna noodle casseroles for a couple of weeks now. I changed (slighty) a recipe I found on "Desserts for Two" blog, and combined ingredients that I like to come up with this recipe. Well I've definitely changed my mind about tuna noodle casserole. Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350. Grease 9 x 9 baking dish.
- Make sauce first; melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in a saucepan. Whisk in the flour slowly and cook for 1-2 minutes while constantly stirring. Next, slowly pour in the milk and cream while whisking. Continue to cook over low heat until mixture thickens and comes to a bubble. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg; stir and set aside.
- Meanwhile, boil the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the diced onion, garlic, mushrooms and celery. Saute while stirring occasionally for about 8-10 minutes, until the vegetables are tender. Add the peas, salt, pepper, everglade seasoning and drained tuna and remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the sauce, filling, cheese and noodles. Stir well to combine, then spoon into baking dish. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top, drizzle with the melted butter and bake for 30 minutes, or until bubbling. NOTE: I added a little salt and pepper to bread crumbs.

KRAFT® MAC AND CHEESE TUNA CASSEROLE
I call this a classic tuna casserole because it is made with a boxed macaroni and cheese and the basic ingredients we all grew up with. This is comfort food at it's best, my two favorites mixed together. This is so good that I took a picture of it after having it for dinner and decided it should be shared on my favorite recipe site. You will love it too.

EASY MACARONI TUNA CASSEROLE
This dish is super easy. It is also a very hearty delicious bowl of comfort food. The guys in my house loved it. I loved this recipe but I used cream of mushroom soup and added the cheese into the casserole. I also melted butter and added bread crumbs to the top before baking, then sprinkle top lightly with dill seasoning. The resulting casserole was very creamy and flavorful.

- In a bowl blend together the soup, milk, mayo, and dry mustard.
- Stir in cheese, tuna, and pimiento.
- Gently fold in macaroni/spaghetti and transfer into a 2 quart 8X8 inch casserole dish.
- Combine crumbs, butter, and paprika and sprinkle evenly on top.
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 30-35 minutes or so. When the crumbs are a pretty color and the juices are bubbling around the edges your casserole is done.
MOM'S EASY TUNA CASSEROLE WITH RICE
I grew up with a macaroni-based tuna casserole. My mother-in-law introduced me to this one with rice and I've used it ever since. The Tabasco® sauce and green chile peppers gives it an extra pop of flavor.

MACARONI AND TUNA CASSEROLE
I realize there are about a thousand tuna casserole recipes on this site, but here is my version. I know the processed Kraft mac 'n cheese powder isn't the healthiest (chemicals), but it sure is cheap, and I actually like it better in tuna casserole than regular shredded cheese. I toss in a bunch of veggies, so I don't feel as guilty... ;-) The added veggies also help stretch the amount of food. I "eyeball" the amount of veggies, but the amounts listed below should be pretty close to what I use.
